Great Server, April 11, 2012 This review is from: ML350 G6 E5606 1P 4GB-R Us Svr (Personal Computers) This Server is a workhorse. For the price, it is an unbeatable deal. You get built-in, hot-plug, easy to setup RAID 0/1/10/5/6, 3 year onsite parts and labor warranty and a 24 hour live HP support all for a grand! Just keep in mind this configuration comes with SFF (2.5) cage, so if you intend to use this server with LFF (3.5) drives, you will have to purchase LFF cage. I saw a cage listed on Amazon for $45 or something like that. Alternatively order a different configuration, since the ML 350 G6 series server comes in different configurations.
Seriously, I wonder how HP makes money selling a sever of this caliber for a grand, not only that, but also provide a 3 year onsite warranty! For a mission critical system like a server, without the lengthy 3 year warranty, one or two service calls could easily eat up a grand. So great job HP for throwing in a 3yr warranty. This server could easily support a 25 user small business or a large department/workgroup even under heavy load, such... Read more
